I have known Tara since we were in Junior High so I was honored when she asked if I'd take some photos of her and her husband. They were a great couple to work with and you could really see how much they care for each other. Have to say AJ was probably the most relaxed of all of us and seemed to enjoy himself :-)
I have had a love for photography since I was given my first camera at age 10. My dad has always inspired me with his photography and has taught me a lot about the craft. I enjoy photographing everything from the smallest child to events to nature. Photographing your special event, milestone, or yearly family photo gives me the opportunity to turn your special day into a story to be shared with family and friends for many years.

Jokerst Family Photos
As Spring came the Jokerst family decided they would be leaving the Army and wanted some photos done on Ft. Bliss to have a record of their time on the post. I was happy to get some family shots and some individual shots of "G" who was turning one that week. Quick update: The Jokerst family decided to stay in the Army and dad will be deploying to Afghanistan. Please keep this family and all the others protecting us in your thoughts and prayers.
My Little Guy is 18 Months
I can't believe we'll be celebrating my little guy's 2nd birthday in just over a month. Here are some shots from his 18 month old session I did with him.
She's a Feisty One
I love this little girl to pieces. She is one feisty little red-head :-) Her mom asked me to do photos for her 18-month old birthday and I was more than happy to chase her around. We didn't get too many smiles at first, but by the end she was really showing off.
Baby G
I met Baby G's mom right when we moved to Ft. Bliss as her husband was in my husband's company. About a year later Baby G arrived and I had the pleasure of taking some 6 month old pictures for his mama. He was definitely on the go and once we just let him do what he wanted, we got some really cute pictures.
Welcome Home Trey
Danielle and I met in Centering Class which is a prenatal group treatment for women who are pregnant at Ft. Bliss. Shortly after meeting her husband, Trey, deployed to Iraq for a year. Their daughter Charlotte was born in September 2009 and I had the privilege of photographing Trey's welcome home which was about seven months after Charlotte was born (he did get to come home for R&R a few days after she was born).
